System Summary

The solution includes a 250 kVA Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), integrated with a 244 kWp solar PV array. This setup is paired with a 240 kW grid-tied inverter system and provides 400 kWh of battery storage capacity.

What makes this project stand out?

The solar modules are mounted on an east/west peg system, an innovative and unique approach in South Africa. This newly introduced system allows for a more evenly distributed generation profile throughout the day, maximising solar harvest across morning and afternoon peaks.
